PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INSTALLATION
The Project Management Team at Fulbourn Medical have many years of experience of designing, coordinating and managing high quality and complex Hospital theatre installation projects.
Whether upgrading specific equipment or undertaking a complete turn-key refurbishment, the Team understand the importance of minimising the disruption to the operational department. This is achieved by drawing upon extensive experience of working in surgical and clinical areas from the initial planning stages through to handing over the completed project.
Safety
Safety of the workforce and those around them is a core value at Fulbourn Medical, having worked on many sites with rigorous safety regimes and requirements. The Project Management Team will work closely with the Professional Team and Client to ensure a safe working environment for all who work on the project.
All directly employed engineers hold current CSCS cards relevant to the activities they undertake. In addition, ongoing training, whether in-house or by external bodies, is essential for proactively managing the health and safety activity with the aim of achieving zero accidents.
STEELWORK SUPPORT AND ANCILLARY SERVICES
Fulbourn Medical offer a complete design, manufacture and installation package for operating light and pendant support steelwork.
Our structural engineering Partners certify the design, and installation is undertaken in line with the Construction Design Management (2007) Regulations.
In addition to the steelwork installation, many Clients require the complete package with the fixing of the equipment to the steelwork support and the installation of the electrical and data services, all of which can be undertaken by the Fulbourn Medical Project Management Team.
The final stage of the project is for the Engineer to test and commission the installation ready for handing over. If required, the new equipment can be demonstrated to the Client and any operational Staff to ensure it is ready for immediate use.
FULL PROJECT
As it is critical that the downtime of a surgical department is kept to a minimum, many Clients take the opportunity to carry out a full refurbishment whilst the new equipment is being installed.
The Project Management Team at Fulbourn Medical have vast experience of undertaking full "turn-key" projects including reconfiguring ceiling and lighting layouts, redecoration using specialist environmental coating systems and replacing anti-static floor finishes. Whilst ensuring minimal disruption to adjacent live operational departments.
